Introduction
This terraced garden was created between 1979 and 1984. It owes its name to the street - the rue des Tanneurs - below which was followed the river Seille and was lined with tanneries up until sanitation works were carried out in the early 20th century. South-facing, this garden contains species of plants that are unusual for the region: palm trees, fig trees, eucalyptus, cypress trees etc
