Introduction

The 13th-century cloister of the Récollets, remarkable for its elegance and simplicity, is a small haven of serenity in the heart of the city. In 1972, Jean-Marie Pelt founded the Institut Européen d'Ecologie, whose headquarters are still located here.
Today, Les Récollets brings together associations and institutions working together on sustainable development issues, the fight against climate change and the transition to energy, ecology and solidarity. The Municipal Archives are also located on this site.
