Introduction

Saint-Eucaire church was founded in the 5th century. Rebuilt between the 12th and 15th centuries, it provides an overview of architecture leading from the Romanesque to the Flamboyant Gothic styles. The ancient paintings and sculptures of the interior are also striking, as are the stained glass windows of the chancel which were created by Laurent-Charles Maréchal, the great master glazier of Metz.
