Organ at Saint Etienne's Cathedral

Discover this surprising musical heritage in the St. Stephen's Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art: its stunning nave reaches a record high and contains a surprising organ (called a triforium organ) built in 1573 by Jehan de Trèves and rebuilt in 1891 by Marc Garnier respecting the deutch Renaissance style. There's also the exceptionnal instrument of European significance of St. Martin (Nollet 1777) and the symphonic organ of Notre Dame (Mutin 1903, in an organ case of Nollet 1734). The neogothic woodwork is made in varnished oak, the front pipes are wade in tin with semicircular escutcheons and ears.
