PROMENADE DU TECHNOPOLE À LA GRANGE AUX BOIS

Introduction

Designed on the same model as the Amercian landscaped business parks, the Technopôle has a large part of its area dedicated to plants and walks: the Ariane Lake (3,8 ha) was created in 1981 to regulate water coming from the Cheneau river. The banks of the lake, with its rich flora, house a lot of birds which are used to damp areas. A forest path through the Bois de la Macabée (27ha) enables to reach the Quarter of the Grange aux Bois. The path continues until the Symphonie Lake, the second water retention pond of the Cheneau river. This lake offers a 6 ha landscape-area with many walking paths, as well as a large play area for children.
