Introduction
Designed on the model of American landscaped technology parks, the Technopôle reserves a large part of its surface area for planting and walking: Lake Ariane (3.8 ha) was created in 1981 to regulate the waters of the Cheneau stream. Several paths lead around the lake, on foot or by bike, in a beautifully undulating area (4 ha). The banks of the lake, rich in wild flora, are home to many birds accustomed to wetlands. A forest trail through the Bois de la Macabée (27 ha), mainly made up of pedunculate oaks, takes you past the golf course and across the expressway via a wooden footbridge to the Grange aux Bois district.
