Odette is the victim of the magician Rothbart's famous curse: she turns into a swan by day and back into a woman by night. Only the promise of eternal love can free her from this spell. Siegfried promises Odette his hand in marriage at the ball given in her honor. Will they escape the trickery of Rothbart and his daughter Odile? Will the Prince be able to save his bride?
Created in 1875 by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, it was in 1895 with choreographer Marius Petipa's revival that Swan Lake became the greatest classical success of all time. Between "Pas de deux", romantic duets and "Danse des Petits Cygnes", the dancers, accompanied by a renowned orchestra, will interpret this masterful work with elegance.
