EXHIBITION - DEGREES EAST: CLÉMENCE LOLLIA HILAIRE

Clémence Lollia Hilaire has been invited to occupy the Degrés Est space, dedicated to artists linked to the Grand Est region, at the suggestion of Fanny Gonella, director of the Frac Lorraine.Clémence Lollia Hilaire is an artist who lives and works in Amsterdam. Her practice explores the porosity of categories often perceived and experienced as hermetic. This manifests itself in the form of videos, sculptures and sound works, in which references to historical, fantastical and non-human figures coexist with accounts of personal experience. Her interest in observing and creating ontological shifts is rooted in the Franco-Caribbean context from which she hails.This project is supported by the Mondriaan Fonds.
